I have always loved Papemelroti since high school because I am an arts & crafts person and all their products are affordable, inexpensive even…why? Because all their stationery is from recycled paper.
I am proud that there is a uniquely Filipino brand that focuses on recycled materials because I do believe in zero waste. But the most important thing is its good design. The recycled paper actually adds to the vintage/antique effect.
They even have metal craft, shown by the leaf decor with swirls. That’s actually painted with strokes of blue-green to create a weathered effect, but can’t be seen because of the light.
I also like the name of the brand because even though it’s long, it’s still easy to pronounce since it’s just basic syllables. It characterizes the business because it’s the first syllable of the names of the five children of the founders — Patsy, Peggy, Meldy, Robert, and Tina — it being a family business. The first 2 syllables also match ‘paper’.
So THAT’S where the name came from! 🙂 Thanks for the info! 🙂
And thanks for visiting my blog =)
